Leena Suhonen
Leena Suhonen studied in the Sibelius-Academy, Helsinki, Finland year 1975-1987 with her mother Liisa Soinne and professor Liisa Pohjola. At 1984 she continued her piano studies in Israel with professor Victor Derevianko.
Leena Suhonen finished her studies at the Sibelius Academy with the highest marks in the final examination at 1987.
As soloist Leena Suhonen has played with several
Finnish orchestras and as a chamber musician she has performed
regularly.
Leena Suhonen has worked at Hochshule für Musik in Saarbrücken 1988-1998 and since 2001 in Lahti University of Applied Sciences, faculty of music.
